With a Masters degree in Finance, Banking and Investment, Silvia is responsible for the production accounting and overall management of cash flow through Mechanic. Working closely with our Accounting firm KPMG, Silvia has successfully kept the company in a strong financial position while managing production finance for Disney’s Talking Friends Digital Series, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble TV Series, Marvel’s Hulk and the Agent’s of S.M.A.S.H TV Series, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy TV Series, Marvel’s Frost Fight Netflix Movie.

 

Heading up Mechanic Animation, Greg comes from a strong Technical background which he utilises everyday in this high tech, arts driven industry. Over the last 8 years he as turned this studio into one of New Zealand’s leading Design and Pre-Production companies, while successfully delivering; Disney’s Talking Friends Digital Series, Marvel’s Avengers Assemble TV Series, Marvel’s Hulk and the Agent’s of S.M.A.S.H TV Series, Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy TV Series, and Marvel’s Frost Fight Netflix Movie. The company is now 50 crew and growing, having produced around 200 Television episodes and 2 direct to video Films.

He’s a 24year veteran in visual effects, having worked on over thirty film and television projects. His work has earned him 173 award nominations, with 43 wins, including six Oscar and BAFTA nods. Mike has also been a senior leader in the video game industry, having shipped five major TripleA titles. Currently oversees all Computer Graphics design and technical pipeline for the feature and television divisions of Mechanic.

 

 

Has been tinkering in television and new media since first starting for CBS Television, overseeing the toon classic, “Muppet Babies.” Has worked for Disney TV animation, where he was nominated for an Emmy; and Nickelodeon, where he ran the development of the “Jimmy Neutron” animated series. He’s also worked at Warner Brothers, Universal and Machinima either developing new projects or running production. Currently overseeing animated series production at Mechanic.

A leading concept designer and illustrator in the realm of fantasy and science fiction, Stephen began his studio career with the development team at Weta Workshop, creating designs for such classics as Peter Jackson’s “King Kong” and James Cameron’s “Avatar.” Shifting to television, he then came to Mechanic where he has been the senior art director crafting the look and feel of the Marvel universe, and now heading art for Mechanic’s first theatrical motion picture project.

Christian Gossett

He began his career in video games, having worked on such classics as “Heavy Gear,” “Call of Duty,” and “Pitfall” for Sony Playstation. Then moved into features where he created designs for Peter Jackson’s “King Kong” and Tim Burton’s “Alice in Wonderland.” One of his more cool designs was inventing the DoubleBladed Lightsaber for the “Tales of the Jedi” graphic novel. Currently oversees storyboards and visual story development at Mechanic.

She comes from a career that features being both a Motion Graphics, Animation and Illustration Tutor at Massey University Wellington, as well as a designer in the Creatures Department at Weta Digital, where she worked on “Tintin,” “Rise of the Planet of the Apes,” “Avengers,” and The “Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.” She’s also a published illustrator with work exhibited in New Zealand, USA and Germany. Currently she directs all art for the Mechanic television pipeline.

Responsible for setting up and running our Creature Pipeline, developing flesh, hair, cloth sims, along with defining and creating rigging systems and guidelines.
